The user story of a product owner
**This event is geared towards students and young professionals up to about 35 years of age **
Are you at the beginning of your career as a Product Owner? Then you will be playing chess on different boards. You are an important link in the team, you are constantly looking for connection with your stakeholders and you try to realize meaningful goals that deliver customer value. The practice just has many pitfalls. For example, it is important to be ambitious and to stand up for your team, but a Product Owner can forget to be vulnerable and eager to learn.
To help you avoid such pitfalls, the Young Agile Consortium organizes an interactive workshop together with Bas Hammendorp. Bas has been active as Product Owner for 8 years at organizations like PGGM and ONVZ and knows what you’re up against as a starting Product Owner. In an honest story he takes you into the pitfalls he has fallen into and how he has learned from them. Together with the young agile professionals, you will practice with these situations. After the workshop you will have practical tips that you can apply the next day.
