The event marked another important milestone for Young Agile Consortium as the network is expanding and we’ve welcomed an increasingly diverse amount of young Agile professionals. Whether it is genuine interest, ambition or the desire to meet people with a similar mindset, either of these enrich the experience everyone gets at our events.
We would like to thank everyone for coming, and send special thanks to Ivo Bouwman & Özcan Köylü from ABN AMRO Bank N.V. for telling the story “Agile Against All Odds”; a powerful yet compelling story of how ABN Amro found an implementation of the SAFe framework that worked for them.
The key message of the event can be summarised into three main points:
▶ Be ready for a multiyear journey when you’re at the starting grid as a major corporation.
▶ Build on empiricism – experiment, inspect & adapt. Induce great ideas and keep involving your greatest capital – your workforce.
▶ Be prepared to kill your darlings, pivot without mercy when you find out things do not work out the way you thought they would.
We would like to invite you for the next milestone on our roadmap; an Agile game from Gaming Works based on the Quint SAFE framework, with current placeholder date Thursday 15th June.
