Inner Circle 12/12/2018: Patterns of Successful Scaled Agile Transformation

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, December, 12th, 2018, when the Agile Consortium Belgium hosts its next Inner Circle (open to ACB corporate members).

We will have Jayagopal Parameswaran (Jay), Cognizant Digital Engineering Practice Leader – Continental Europe, and Enterprise Agile coach, talking about the “Patterns of Successful Scaled Agile transformation”. The insights and lessons learned generated through the past several large agile transformation roll-outs will be the subject of the talk.

Scaling agile across teams, programs, and portfolios involves connecting your strategy with agile execution. This requires a fundamental cultural shift in planning and executing work, and commitment from top-to-bottom within your organization. Cookie cutter approach seldom helps. It takes an Agile mojo, time and investment to transform a business, with plenty of “inspecting and adapting” along the way. From the learnings helping some of the largest enterprises transform their practices and culture, there are set of building blocks and patterns identified in order to successfully build a scaled agile delivery engine using SAFe. The session would be a run-down on the learnings and experiences from several large scale enterprise agile transformations which have delivered significant benefits to the transformed organizations.

Jay has 20+ years of Technology experience, is a passionately practicing agilist for the past 14 years, with the last 6 years being in SAFe, Kanban and DevOps. In 2007, he led the first ever successful CMMI assessment of an enterprise agile program.
